The joys of Halloween just too scary for words alone
Are you doing anything on the October 28 my friend Steve innocently asked; only we are having a Halloween party. There are plenty of kids going so bring Sedona. Oh and its fancy dress. What is it about that those last few words that always strike terror in to you. Well anything for a laugh I thought, especially when its at your own expense.
Saturday arrived and it was a stop at Tescos for a few props and some diesel. After all there is no way I am stopping for fuel in fancy dress and yes this is one time I wished I had satellite navigation. Asking directions would not be an option either. So with directions duly printed I was heading north, up the M1 wearing a purple wig and bright red lipstick. Not my usual Saturday night behaviour before you all start the rumours.
As you can see from the pictures, Sedona was dressed up as a witch and me dressed as Dracula. My ex-wife Tracey had done a very good job on face painting the two of us, and if I say so myself, I did look pretty evil. Suppose it was a good job it was dark on the motorway otherwise I may have got some very strange looks. Mind you it would have been even better if most of the guests had made the effort as well. Note to myself, next time someone mentions its fancy dress always check just how many people are really going to be in it!
